But now, it looks that guys from The Weinstein Company are hoping to finally start shooting the whole thing this September.
At this moment we know that John Wells is still attached to direct the project which follows a dysfunctional Oklahoma family over a few summer weeks as they come to terms with various resentments and secrets.
Or, if you prefer – the central characters are a grieving mother and daughter who mercilessly argue with each other, following the death of the family's patriarch.
As you probably know, August: Osage County is a film version of Pulitzer/Tony-award winning play of the same name, and we have no doubts that with those great ladies this could be a great movie.
