Marcia Gay Harden in THE LIBRARIAN
Looks that Marcia Gay Harden is back. And, this time, the Oscar-winning actress is going to play the lead in an upcoming Juan Feldman‘s indie drama titled The Librarian.
Quite logically, she will play a mild-mannered librarian, but with a mission to start a new life for herself. And what sounds even better – she will try all that in Costa Rica!
The Librarian comes from a screenwriter Joel Silverman, and what's definitely interesting is the fact that, whenever we have a midlife crisis involved – there's usually an exotic country, and well… an exotic man as well.
So, as we said, Harden comes on board to play a mild-mannered librarian suffering through a midlife crisis as she takes in the exotic flora and fauna of Costa Rica, where she accidentally (pay attention on this – “accidentally” part!) hires a man who's a lothario and dime-store philosopher for her tour.
I would love to taste that kind of accident as well sometime.
The Librarian will begin shooting in Costa Rica this July, and here's what director Feldman had to say about the whole thing:
“It's a magical place and one that really does have the natural power to help restore a person. The common greeting there are the words ‘pura vida' – pure life.”
We'll keep an eye on it. Stay tuned for more updates!
