Randall Miller‘s indie
CBGB, which chronicles the iconic New York nightclub.

Alan Rickman stars as Hilly Kristal, the owner of CBGB for over 30 years, while Harry Potter's
Rupert Grint will co-star as Cheetah Chrome, the guitarist for the punk outfit known as Dead Boys, which played a prominent role during the club's rise.
A punk icon, Harry regularly frequented CBGB and Studio 54, and her band Blondie earned commercial success following their debut album in 1976. The flick will be told from the perspective of Kristal (Rickman) and will also highlight the various bands that got their start at the rock venue.
Miller is directing from a script written by himself and his wife
Jody Savin. Production will start next month in New York.
Swedish-born actress Akerman recently appeared in David Wain's and will next play a reporter writing about Tom Cruise's character Stacee Jaxx in Rock of Ages and will soon be seen opposite Nicolas Cage in Stolen.
