The Butler (actually, the new title is
Lee Daniels' The Butler) which is set to hit theaters next month. As you're about to see: they want us to know that this historical drama is the story of

As we previously reported, Daniels directed the whole thing from a script written by
Danny Strong, which centers on African-American butler Eugene Allen, who worked in the White House during eight presidencies throughout the civil rights era.
