Bad Teacher – already sounds familiar, wright? Of course it does, we all remember that 2011 movie with Cameron Diaz in the leading role. Don't worry, we're not here to chat about that movie, but to inform you that Kristin Davis is set to star in the upcoming CBS' Bad Teacher pilot!
Sex and the City star will join previously announced Ari Graynor who is already on board to play the female lead.
Don Scardino is on board to direct CBS' single camera pilot from a script written by Hilary Winston, which will revolve around Graynor's character named Meredith Davis.
She is described as a hot, confident, unapologetic former trophy wife who becomes a teacher to find a new man after her husband leaves her without a dime.
As for Davis, she jumps in to play a history teacher, choir director, Faculty President and Meredith's nemesis – woman named Ginny. In case you already forgot, Lucy Punch played the role in the original movie.
Not sure if Davis is the perfect girl for this role, but one thing is for sure – the pilot definitely has some seriously good cast on board.
So yes, this means we'll keep an eye on Bad Teacher, make sure you stay tuned!
