Ever since his absurdly violent return in Hawkeye, Kingpin's been serving up feats that break more than just bones—they break believability. Survived a point-blank explosion? Took an arrow to the chest and strolled it off? Now in Daredevil: Born Again, he adds “crushing skulls like soda cans” to his résumé.
Marvel hasn't confirmed it, but fans are convinced: Kingpin's either juicing on a discount version of the super soldier serum or he's got plot armor thicker than Thanos' chin.
“Fisk has to be enhanced,” one Redditor wrote. “There's no way a regular guy can rip off someone's jaw. That's not just strength—that's physics-defying.”
And the timeline sort of tracks. After Daredevil Season 3's prison arc, there's a narrative black hole between his reappearance in Hawkeye and now. Plenty of time for shadowy experiments, hush-hush deals, and, oh yeah, a secret serum.
The MCU has a pattern: when the power creep sets in, explanations follow. Remember when Sam Wilson couldn't hold his own against a super soldier? Cue The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's serum subplot. Or when John Walker suddenly went berserk and yeeted a shield through a guy's chest? Another serum twist.
This isn't new.
The MCU's been quietly building a gray-market legacy of super soldier knockoffs—Isaiah Bradley, the Flag Smashers, even Abomination-lite experiments. Kingpin joining the club wouldn't be a stretch. In fact, it would finally explain why he's gone from crime boss to wrecking ball.
Think of it like this: if Steve Rogers is the iPhone of super soldiers, Fisk might be the Nokia brick—less sleek, but indestructible and always in the wrong hands.
So, is Wilson Fisk enhanced? Marvel's not saying. Yet. But if Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 doesn't address the elephant-sized Kingpin in the room, fans might start demanding receipts.
Because right now, the only thing more unbelievable than Fisk's strength… is pretending he's still just a “really strong guy.”
