Well, movie scoop hunter El Mayimbe of
Latino Review has dropped a big fat juicy rumor to take with a pickup truck-sized grain of salt:
Christopher Nolan is reportedly wanted to produce
Justice League, with
Zack Snyder as a producer who could end up directing and
Christian Bale reprising the role of Bruce Wayne!
El Mayimbe says,
Christopher Nolan has completely taken over the DCU at Warner Bros. Anything having to do with these super heroes, goes through him now.
If true, which I doubt, Nolan is taking on a similar role over Justice League to the one he's taken over
Superman reboot,
Man Of Steel. On the other hand, if
JJ Abrams can direct both Star Trek and
Star Wars, why can't Chris Nolan handle every non-
Marvel superhero movie?
The last we'd heard Warner Bros had sh*tcanned Will Beall's script with no chance of hitting the originally mooted 2015 release.
Additionally,
Zack Snyder, who is in post-production on Man of Steel, could be making himself an integral part of the process as well:
So like with Man of Steel, (Nolan's) going to be involved with godfathering/producing while Zack Snyder will be co-producing and will possibly be the director.
Finally, Latino Review reports,
They're shaping this as a vehicle for Christian Bale to reprise his role as Batman and join Henry Cavill‘s Superman in the Justice League movie.
If these rumors about Justice League should prove to be true, then Warner Bros. might just be back on the right track with the film after all.
