In the latest action-adventure fantasy film, ‘Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace,' Josh Burdett flexes his muscles starring alongside Cuba Gooding Jr and Denise Richards. This film is expected to showcase intense actions, strong, emotional scenes, movements and an intriguing story that portrays the struggle between good and evil as the dark forces, in form of satan's army, rise.
In the novel Josh Burdett plays the role of Gabriel, a Gulf War veteran who struggles with PTSD and feelings of guilt. His journey of redemption begins when Balthazar, a mysterious mentor portrayed by the versatile Cuba Gooding Jr. , guides him to his true purpose: waging a war for God or against evil. The onscreen chemistry of Burdett and Gooding Jr. is real, thus giving an interesting touch to the realistic portrayal of the characters.
Burdett is not new to the screen, and in fact, he has starred in many successful productions including the Oscar nominated ‘Loving Vincent', the thriller ‘WarHunt' and the HULU series ‘Find Me in Paris'. His current projects include the completion of the series ‘Gandhi' by Hansal Mehta and the Lionsgate film ‘Murder at the Embassy' alongside Mischa Barton. For now, fans can also anticipate a new horror film that is set to commence production in August.
‘Angels Fallen: With title ‘Warriors of Peace', it stars such beautiful people as Denise Richards and Randy Couture. Leading Indonesian actor Arifin Putra is supported by Korrina Rico and Michael Teh in principal roles. The shooting of the movie took place in Georgia and Los Angeles which made the movie real and very gripping.
In a recent interview, Burdett expressed his excitement about the project: “This is a good action/adventure picture that has some substance at it's core about good vs evil, and making up for the sins of our pasts I loved the atmosphere on the set for this entire picture – I was able to meet some really nice folks As was the experience of working with a legendary actor as Cuba, and the opportunity to act alongside Denise Richards.
Directed by the award-winning Ali Zamani, known for his extensive work in music videos and films, ‘Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace' is a follow-up to the first installment of the Angels Fallen franchise. Burdett reflected on his journey, saying, “If you had said to me 15 years ago that I would be the lead in a film also starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and Denise Richards, shooting in Hollywood, I don't know if I would have believed you! The whole experience felt like a realization of dreams and ambitions that I have held for a long time, since I was a kid.”
