Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Seymour Krelborn? Why not, especially when we already have a word that Gordon-Levitt is developing a remake of
Little Shop of Horrors project, and of course – we expect to see him in a leading role as well!
So, make sure you bookmark this somewhere, because Gordon-Levitt will soon star as the nerdy florist who cultivates a plant that craves humans for food. Spooky!
Little Shop of Horrors, an ultra-low budget movie directed by Roger Corman back in 1960 was adapted into an Off-Broadway musical in 1982, and then it was adapted (again) into the 1986 movie musical.
That version was directed by Frank Oz, and starred Rick Moranis and Steve Martin in the leading roles.
Now, let's get back to our new adaptation. This time we have
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, man behind
Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark story on board for the new screenplay, while Marc Platt will be in charge for producing the whole thing, with Warner Bros. Pictures standing behind the project.
There's still nothing about the possible director, but as usual – with every new update we'll be back!
Let us know what you think about Gordon-Levitt as Seymour Krelborn, and stay tuned!
