Jon and Erich Hoeber Will Write Red Sequel
Remember that action comedy Red, nominated for Golden Globe but unfortunately lost?
Well, guys from the Summit Entertainment production made over a $100 million at the worldwide box office with that one, so they probably remember it very well.
So, guess what – the studio has rehired Red screenwriters Jon and Erich Hoeber to write a sequel!
Ok, the whole thing is still in the early stages, but as usual we're here to share this interesting news with you.
Let us remind you that Red was released back in October and made $164 million worldwide. With a budget of $58 million it made a nice profit for the studio.
As you see, no such thing as a big detail at this moment when it comes to this project, but if you ask us, we're definitely signing in for the sequel.
We would like to see again Retired Extremely Dangerous team especially if soft-hearted killer Bruce Willis, perfectly paranoid John Malkovich, lady of style armed with a machine gun Helen Mirren, invincible Morgan Freeman and the rest of the main cast return.
Will that happen? It's unknown at this point. But stay with us for Red sequel updates!
