The world of Gotham is set to return to the big screen in grand style with “Joker: Folie à Deux – the highly anticipated follow up to Todd Philip's masterpiece from 2019. This movie again features Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, this sequel of joker looks even more chaotic and interesting than the previous one which has made fans more excited to watch this DC character in action.
The excitement around “Joker: It seems that “Folie à Deux” has been more than evident, especially since the new trailer has come out and apparently, fans cannot wait for more. The trailer also serves the purpose of revealing more of Phoenix's excellent portrayal of Arthur Fleck and, to some extent, a look into Gaga's version of Harley Quinn. The chemistry between the two is palpable, and Lady Gaga, despite overshadowing the traditional image of Harley Quinn, brings fresh emotion to the role.

The film is coming out at the Venice Film Festival and according to the official listing of the event, the movie has a length of 138 minutes. This makes it slightly longer than the initial “Joker,” which had a runtime of a hundred, and twenty-two minutes. This longer runtime indicates that there is more focus on the Joker and his personality, and dynamic between him and Harley Quinn.
“Joker: “Folie à Deux” starts right from where the first movie stopped: Arthur Fleck, in handcuffs and a hospital gown, in Arkham Asylum, waiting for trial. The premise of the story will be focusing on multi-identity problems for Arthur as well as his feelings for Harley Quinn, who is depicted as a girl who is in love with the Joker. The trailer has scenes that suggest the power of music, confusion, and feelings; Gaga claimed her character is “a very sensitive person”.
Of course, the audience can expect an excellent ensemble from Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and Steve Coogen so far unknown. The film has a high shot at critical and commercial success with Todd Philips at the helm of the movie- Philips is reputed for being a detail-oriented director and Phoenix and Philips have worked together before.

Lady Gaga's excitement about the film is evident. She has shared that “Joker: Folie à Deux” features music and dance, along with remarkable acting performances. Her enthusiasm about working with Phoenix and Philips, combined with her statement that she has “never done anything like this before,” heightens the anticipation.
Mark your calendars for October 4, as “Joker: Folie à Deux” hits theaters. This film is not just a continuation of the Joker's story but a new chapter that promises to be filled with madness, music, and an unforgettable love story.
