Ok, guys, I have something to share with you today. Jeremy Renner is in some serious bullshit (man, I was dying to say this).
And that bullshit is an upcoming David O. Russell‘s (still) untitled drama formerly known as American Bullshit.
In case the whole thing already sounds familiar to you, that's probably because Christian Bale was previously attached to star in this project. But, now it looks that Bourne is ready to replace Batman!
So, American Bullshit (just for a record, I have nothing against the title!) is actually based on the true story of a notorious financial con artist and his mistress/partner in crime who were forced to work with an intense and ambitious FBI agent to turn the tables on other con artists, mobsters and politicians.
As you already guess, Jeremy Renner is currently in some serious talks to star as Jimmy Boyle, the FBI agent who busts that con artist and then partners with him in the sting, but what definitely sounds great is that we also have Bradley Cooper in talks for the con artist part.
Let's just hope that everything will work out just fine and that both Renner and Cooper will indeed star in O.Russell's upcoming drama.
