Dressed up as Electro for Halloween last night. Costume fits well. That's exactly what
Jamie Foxx revealed on his Twitter today, so here we are – all talking about his involvement in
The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Please consider this
Electro-part as a huge rumor at this moment, but also have in mind that everything is possible in Hollywood these days. On the other hand, it's true – Foxx will indeed play the villain in the upcoming movie!
But, is that villain really Electro? We have no idea. But what we do know is that Electro, who first appeared in February 1964 (in
The Amazing Spider-Man #9), has never actually appeared on the big screen.
Still, he's definitely an interesting guy – a supervillain who's real name is Max Dillon and who gained the ability to control electricity after being struck by lightning while working on a power line.
In addition to that, Electro can generate massive quantities of electricity and can employ this electrostatic energy as lightning arcs from his fingertips. His maximum charge is more than enough to kill a normal human.

But let's stop with Electro for a moment and remind you that
Andrew Garfield,
Emma Stone and
Shailene Woodley are all attached to star in
The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which is set to open on May 2nd, 2014.
Alex Kurtzman,
Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and
James Vanderbilt are responsible for the script this time, while
Marc Webb returns as a director.
So, let me hear you, what do you think about this rumor –
Jamie Foxx as Electro,
yes or no?
