Ok, before you say –
wtf is this, I will inform you that a remake of
Tom Holland‘s 1985 movie
Fright Night (you know, the one from the last year with Farrell & company) is getting it's own sequel. Yeah, I know, sounds crazy, but it's true! And we've just learned that young and sweet
Jaime Murray (probably best known from
Dexter) has been cast to play the female lead in the whole thing!
And, according to the latest reports, Murray comes on board to play a young & attractive professor Gerri – a real life vampire! Ho, ho, ho! But wait, no
Colin Farrell this time? Apparently not, and don't even mention that
Anton Yelchin guy.
They have
nothing to do with this sequel, so forget about them! Director
Eduardo Rodriguez obviously has a different plans with the upcoming sequel, you know,
it's a stand-alone story!

On the other hand, guys from
Bloody Disgusting report that Evil Ed and Peter Vincent will be returning for
Fright Night 2. And thanks to them, we have more plot details, so here we go:
When high school student Charlie attends a study abroad program with his horror obsessed friend “Evil” Ed and ex-girlfriend AMY in Romania, he soon discovers their young attractive professor Gerri is a real life vampire. Too bad no one believes him. In fact, Evil Ed finds it amusing and it only feeds his vampire obsession. When Gerri turns Ed, Charlie seeks out Peter Vincent, the infamous vampire hunter who is in Romania filming his show “Fright Night,” to teach him how to take down Gerri before she gets to Amy, who's blood will cure Gerri of spending eternity as a vampire.
Anyway, filming on
Fright Night 2 starts next week in Bucharest, Romania, so I guess we'll soon have more interesting things to share with you.
Make sure you stay tuned!
Don´t take your time to share anything about this movie, because NOBODY CARES A FUCK!
