The guys over at Valve (Portal 2 game) teamed up with Paramount Pictures and to bring us a really cool interactive trailer for for the upcoming J.J. Abrams film Super 8. The trailer is embedded in the game, where players can see from the point-of-view inside the big train crash in Abrams' new adventure.
The film takes place in the summer of 1979, and features a group of friends in a small Ohio town who witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie. They soon suspect that it was not an accident and, shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town. The local Deputy tries to uncover the truth, which turns out to be something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.
Super 8 stars Elle Fanning, Kyle Chandler, Joel Courtney, Ron Eldard, Noah Emmerich, Gabriel Basson, Ryan Lee, Amanda Michalka and Zach Mills.
Super 8 opens in theatres on June 10th, 2011.
