The 84th annual Academy Awards will be presented on Sunday night. The black-and-white silent film, The Artist, directed by Michel Hazanavicius has become the frontrunner with its 10 nominations.
After three fantastic movies, the makers of
Ice Age are back with the fantastic fourth installment and pay homage to the silent film by Hazanavicius in the form of a clip parodying The Artist, so we can rediscover the adventures of Scrat in
Ice Age 4: The Scratist, also in black-and-white, with 1920s music and intertitles.
Promo clip about the relationship between the prehistoric squirrel Scrat and his nut is a new material you have not seen before because only scenes were used from the first three teasers, but still this is well worth two minutes of your time.
Ice Age: Continental Drift is slated to arrive in U.S. theaters on July 13th, 2012.
