This is going to be one busy year for
Hilary Swank. Yesterday we reported that she will star in George C. Wolfe's upcoming drama
You're Not You, and today comes the word that Swank is also attached to star in
Tommy Lee Jones‘ directed period drama titled
The Homesman, together with legendary
Meryl Streep!
Jones stands behind the script and will also star in and produce the movie which will center on a woman, played by Swank, who joins a outlawed man (Jones) in an attempt to usher three mentally unstable women from Nebraska to Iowa.
Unfortunately, at this moment, still no details about Streep's character, but we have no doubts that with this team on board – nothing could possibly go wrong with the project.
After all, the movie would be a reunion for Jones and Streep, who both starred in
Great Hope Springs, and Swank is always a good choice for any movie.
