Hercules 3D! Man, do we really need two high-profile
Hercules movies at this moment? I have no idea, but it looks that it's all about
Dwayne Johnson (who will star in
Brett Ratner‘s version of the whole thing) and Lutz.

Renny Harlin is set to direct the
$70 million epic from a script he co-wrote with
Sean Hood and
Giulio Steve.
Not much is known about the story, except that
Hercules 3D will have at its center a love story between the son of Zeus and the mortal princess of Crete, who was promised to his older brother despite her love for Hercules.
As for Lutz and his involvement in the whole thing, it looks that director Harlin is more than excited. Here's what he had to say in an interview with

It takes more than a good physique to portray the most legendary, mythological personality in history — and Kellan has exactly that, personality. He's not afraid to explore the strengths and vulnerabilities of the character, and he impressed me with his passion and heart.
The plan is to begin shooting in May in Bulgaria.
