Thor: The Dark World fans are going to appreciate this update! We have a video interview with
Jaimie Alexander, who stars as
Sif aka Thor's childhood friend & Asgardian warrior, and as you're going to see (and hear), she was so kind to share some details about the upcoming movie which opens this November! Quite interesting, make sure you check it out in the rest of this report!
So, according to Alexander, this time the movie will have a darker tone, and, on the other hand – it will also center on the
Sif/Thor relationship “a little bit” (read: the movie will apparently explore her possible
romantic relationship with Thor). Or, as she explained in the interview with
IamRogue:
We sort of explore the Sif/Thor relationship a little bit. It's more getting a feel of who these people are and how they are the way they are with each other.

As you already know, this time director
Alan Taylor stands behind the project which continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself.
In the aftermath of Marvel's Thor and Marvel's The Avengers, Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.
Beside
Jaimie Alexander,
Thor: The Dark World cast includes
Chris Hemsworth,
Natalie Portman,
Tom Hiddleston,
Stellan Skarsgård,
Idris Elba,
Christopher Eccleston,
Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje,
Kat Dennings,
Ray Stevenson,
