The Weinstein Company has released the first UK teaser trailer for
Grace of Monaco, another one of this year's potential awards contenders.
Directed by
La Vie En Rose helmer
Olivier Dahan, the highly-anticipated historical period film stars
Nicole Kidman as the Hollywood legend turned princess, Grace Kelly.
From a script by
Arash Amel, joining Kidman in the cast ensemble are
Tim Roth as Monaco's Prince, along with
Paz Vega, Parker Posey, Milo Ventimiglia, Derek Jacobi and
Frank Langella among others. The story follows the princess Kelly's involvement with Monaco's Prince Rainier III and France's Charles De Gaulle dispute over tax laws in the early 1960s.
The 60-second trailer only has two good shots of Kidman in it and doesn't even hint at the personality behind the super-expensive facade.
However, hit the jump to check out the first footage from
Grace of Monaco, which has a limited release on November 27th, 2013.
