Getaway! Nothing new, just another look at
Selena Gomez and
Ethan Hawke, who will lead us through
Courtney Solomon‘s gritty thriller, that opens next month. Pretty bad marketing for a movie which is already being described as
a heart-pounding action thriller, don't you think?
Anyway, Solomon directed the pic from a script written by
Gregg Maxwell Parker and
Sean Finegan, which revolves around a former race car driver who must get behind the wheel and follow the orders of a mysterious man to save his kidnapped wife.

Brent Magna is pitted against the clock. Desperately trying to save the life of his kidnapped wife, Brent commandeers a custom Shelby Cobra Mustang, taking it and its unwitting owner on a high-speed race against time, at the command of the mysterious villain holding his wife hostage.
Beside Hawke who plays Magna, and Gomez who stars as that unwitting owner, the rest of
Getaway cast includes
Jon Voight,
Rebecca Budig and
Bruce Payne, and the movie is set to open on August 30th, 2013.
