Following yesterday’s sneak peek, Paramount Pictures has released the two full trailers of Darren Aronofsky‘s Biblical epic Noah.
The full-length trailer along with an international one, which contains some additional footage, more effectively sells the epic scope by the simple fact that you can see what’s going on. The stunning backdrops and locations only help to boost it.
Aronofsky has headed, way back in time, a history of telling intimate tales of tragic figures and I’m curious to find out how he points out the Biblical story of ‘Noah’s Ark’, the one we heard about in Sunday School.
Aronofsky and Ari Handel co-wrote the script, with a revision by John Logan.
Russell Crowe stars as the titular character, a man chosen by God for a great task before an apocalyptic flood destroys the world.
Also starring Jennifer Connelly, Saoirse Ronan, Douglas Booth, Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins, Kevin Durand and Mark Margolis, the epic film opens in theaters March 28th, 2014.
Have a look at the trailers below and check out the first poster too.

NOAH is a close adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah’s Ark. In a world ravaged by human sin, Noah is given a divine mission: to build an Ark to save creation from the coming flood. The screenplay was written by Darren Aronofsky and Ari Handel and revised by Academy Award®-nominated screenwriter John Logan (GLADIATOR, HUGO). Scott Franklin and Aronofsky of Protozoa Pictures, along with Mary Parent of Disruption Entertainment, will produce the film. The film will be executive produced by Ari Handel (BLACK SWAN), Arnon Milchan of New Regency and Chris Brigham (INCEPTION, ARGO).
