The sequel to last year's compilation movie VHS,
S-VHS is ready to premiere at the
Sundance Film Festival this Saturday in Park City, just like the original. To ramp up anticipation for the upcoming sequel, the Collective in association with genre brand Bloody Disgusting have released a teaser trailer.
Amongst the folks behind last years' horror hit are some new directorial blood including
Eduardo Sanchez (Blair Witch Project), The Raid: Redemption director
Gareth Evans, alongside
Jason Eisener (Hobo with a Shotgun) and Macabre director
Timo Tjahjanto who will co-direct his segment with Evans.
The cast for this multi-stranded follow up to VHS includes
Adam Wingard, Lawrence Levine, L.C Holt, Kelsy Abbott, and
Hannah Hughes.
As of yet, no release date has been revealed.
Check out the first trailer for the found footage horror anthology sequel S-VHS, which is brief, kinetic and packs promise.
