Today, Kotaku posted the first image of actress Kristin Kreuk as Chun Li in the upcoming film, “Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li“.
The new movie is based on the popular Capcom‘s video game franchise, in which female fighter Chun-Li embarks on a quest for justice.
“Street Fighter” is directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak, (“Romeo Must Die,” “Exit Wounds,” “Cradle 2 the Grave” and “Doom.”). The movie set for February 27, 2009. Release is currently in-production which locations include Bangkok, Thailand, Hong Kong and Vancouver. Aside from Kreuk, the tidbit features also the likes of Neal McDonough as M.
