Dwayne Johnson in these fresh new photos from
Dito Montiel‘s upcoming movie titled
Empire State.
This time,
The Son of No One director is bringing us a
drama- moment, but I guess the whole thing is worth your attention simply because we have some super-hot cast involved.
Based on true events that happened back in 1982, Empire State follows two childhood friends from Astoria, New York, who plan to rob an armored car depository.
And although Hemsworth looks like he's on the cover of some fashion magazine, he actually stars as one of the two buddies, while Johnson plays an NYPD detective (just look at that police badge) who is tasked to bust the felon pair.
The rest of the cast includes
Emma Roberts, who plays the waitress girlfriend of Hemsworth's character,
Nikki Reed and
Michael Angarano are also on the cast list.
Empire State is currently set to open on June 10th, 2013.
