20th Century Fox has unveiled the first photos from
The Watch, the sci-fi comedy written by
Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, directed by
Akiva Schaffer (known for Hot Rod and TV's Saturday Night Live) and produced by
Shawn Levy (Date Night, Night at the Museum).
Ben Stiller stars as a man who moves from the big city to the suburbs, and worries that his life will be boring now he's away from the excitement of the metropolis.
But while he signs up for the local
neighborhood watch patrol after being assured that the crime-fighting organisation is really a way for blokes to escape the routine of family life, he's soon thrust into uncovering a massive conspiracy.
Along with Stiller, the film stars
Vince Vaughn,
Jonah Hill,
Will Forte,
Billy Crudup,
Richard Ayoade, Nicholas Braun, Rosemarie DeWitt and Joe Nunez.
The Watch is set to hit theaters on July 27th, 2012.
