
In preparation for the Toronto International Film Festival which kicks off next month, here's the first official image from the
Lee Daniels‘
The Butler.
Photo shows the silhouette of
Forest Whitaker as the titular character Eugene Allen, the White House butler whose career started with Harry Truman in 1952 and ended in 1986 with Ronald Reagan.
As you may remember the film is based on a Washington Post report by Wil Haygood and is currently shooting in New Orleans.
The film covers a large part of American history, with a big name cast portraying famous figures with
David Oyelowo as Louis Gaines,
Oprah Winfrey as Gloria Gaines,
Cuba Gooding Jr. as Carter Wilson,
Alan Rickman as Ronald Reagan,

Terrence Howard, Lenny Kravitz, Liam Neeson, Alex Pettyfer, Colman Dingo, Vanessa Redgrave, and more all featuring.
Quincy Jones is scoring the film that will likely hit theaters sometime in late 2013.
