In case you're not so familiar with this project, I'm here to inform you that it's actually a remake of British TV drama of the same name, directed by Joe Ahearne.
It's a story about an art heist that somehow goes wrong, and as we previously reported has a dark, sexy, hard-edged tone.
McAvoy plays character named Simon, who suffers a blow to the head during the operation, and subsequently suffers from amnesia. Nothing to be worried about, except one little thing – he's the only one who knows where the painting is hidden.
When his team questions the validity of his claims, a female hypnotist is hired to get into his brain.
Trance should open next March.
