In this reboot of the franchise
Tyler Perry takes over the titular role of Dr Alex Cross from Morgan Freeman. Also
Ed Burns is pictured below as Perry's partner, along with an unrecognizable Fox as the film's villain.

Rob Cohen-directed thriller co-stars
Rachel Nichols, Giancarlo Esposito, John C. McGinley and
Jean Reno.
Burns plays partner to the homicide detective/psychologist Cross, who need to track down Fox's character Michael Sullivan, a ruthless assassin who murders Cross' wife. While it does share a title with the 16th book in the series, it's said to be a mostly original story. The first stills hint at what could be a a fun crime drama, in which Cross is pushed to the edge of his moral and psychological limits. Check them out above and below.
