As usual with these kinds of stories you end up lonely in your mission to save the people you care for.
That's probably the best thing about Gone since all the fun starts when Seyfried's character, convinced that the serial killer who kidnapped her two years before has come back to finish the job, deals with the guys from police who do not believe her.
Jill, on the other hand, knows time is running out. With no one to turn to, she sets off to find her sister and face her abductor once and for all.
And, you'll agree that's a pretty tough job when everyone around you thinks you're mentally ill person.
