Hostages. Described as a high-octane thriller, the network's 15-episode drama series stars
Toni Collette and
Dylan McDermott.

As we previously reported, producer Jerry Bruckheimer stands behind the project which is based on a similar Israeli series created by Alon Aranya, Omri Givon, and Rotem Shamir. It revolves around a surgeon caught in the middle of a grand political conspiracy, who is ordered to assassinate the President of the United States in order to save her family.
Collette stars as the above mentioned doctor Ellen Sanders, while McDermott plays Duncan Carlisle, the lead hostage taker compelled to do the wrong thing for the right reasons.
The rest of Hostages cast includes
Tate Donovan, Quinn Shephard, Mateus Ward, Billy Brown, Sandrine Holt, Rhys Coiro and
James Naughton, and the show is set to premiere on Monday, September 23rd, 2013 on CBS.
