Just as promised – new Elysium trailer is now online, and as usual – it's waiting for you in the rest of this report. Who says people hate long trailers? This brand new 3-minute video is a perfect addition to our earlier report (you saw the first TV spot two days ago, right?), and we definitely recommend you check it out!
So, as you already see, this new trailer gives us a much better look at Matt Damon‘s character – Max DeCosta: an ordinary guy with a special mission.
He will risk everything to bring equality to two totally different worlds – the very wealthy who live on a massive high-tech utopian metropolis, and the citizens of the Earth who struggle to survive and are desperate to escape the planet.
With his life hanging in the balance, Max reluctantly takes on a dangerous mission – one that pits him against Elysium's Secretary Delacourt and her hard-line forces – but if he succeeds, he could save not only his own life, but millions of people on Earth as well.
Directed by Neill Blomkamp, and also starring Jodie Foster, Sharlto Copley, Alice Braga, Diego Luna and William Fichtner, Elysium is set to open on August 9th, 2013.
