Below we have the first ever poster for Steve Carell‘s animated film Despicable Me 2, with the minion giving the all-too-familiar “two fingers” to let us know that this is a sequel.
Despicable Me hit theaters on July 9th, 2010 and grossed more than $500 million worldwide, against a budget of $69 million! which is massive coming from an up-and-coming animation studio (Illumination, based at Universal) and a completely original film, with no books or previous movies to spring off from.
No official release date has been set, but the poster promises we'll see the film in 2013.
