David Gordon Green fans are probably going to say
wtf now, but apparently, this is an exclusive news, and Gordon Green is currently in some serious negotiations with Sony Pictures to come on board for an adaptation of
Little House On The Prairie book. Why exactly? I have no idea, guess he's bored or something…
Little House On The Prairie, we all know that famous children's book written by
Laura Ingalls Wilder, right? We also remember
Michael Landon and
Melissa Gilbert starring in quite popular TV series of the same name from 70's (
and 80's).
Back then, this project was the perfect one. It explored many themes, and every episode was filled with family values, love, friendship, and faith.
So, why do we need another one?
We should definitely ask all that
Abi Morgan who's writing the script for the whole thing, while Scott Rudin is already set to produce with
Trip Friendly.
Any thoughts about this?
