Insidious Chapter 2 is getting bigger! We've just learned that Last Man Standing star, Danielle Bisutti, has joined the cast which already includes Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Jocelin Donahue and Ty Simpkins. As we previously reported, James Wan is once again on board to direct the whole thing.
James Wan will direct the movie from a script written by Leigh Whannell which will continue the story about the Lambert family and their haunted house. The first movie, starring Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne, told the story of Josh and Renai Lambert and their son Dalton, confronting the demons that possess the young boy.
Not much is known about Bisutti's involvement in the sequel, except that she comes on board to play a character named Michelle.
Jason Blum, who produced Insidious, is producing the low-budget sequel through his Blumhouse Productions. Brian Kavanaugh Jones, Oren Peli, Steven Schneider, and Charles Layton are executive producing.
