Sometimes the only way out is –
straight down! That's exactly the thing with
Tze Chun‘s upcoming
Cold Comes the Night. Starring (great)
Bryan Cranston and
Alice Eve, this intense crime thriller is currently in post production (read: no official release date yet), but hey – at least we have an awesome trailer to share with you today! Head inside to check it out!

Tze Chun directed the movie from a script he co-wrote with
Osgood Perkins and
Nick Simon, which revolves around a struggling motel owner and her daughter who are taken hostage by a nearly blind career criminal.
In other words, Eve plays the above mentioned motel owner named Chloe who, along with her daughter Sophia, played by
Ursula Parker, is taken hostage by a career criminal as he attempts to retrieve his cash package from a crooked cop.
Not hard to guess that Cranston plays that criminal named Topo, while
Logan Marshall-Green stars as a crooked cop named Billy.
Everyone gets in over their heads, and a series of double-crosses leaves a string of dead bodies in this pulse-pounding story about desperation and survival.
Leo Fitzpatrick,
Erin Cummings and
Robin Taylor co-star in the movie which is currently set to hit UK theaters on September 20th, 2013.
The good thing is that
Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions has acquired all domestic and international media rights to
Cold Comes the Night, so I guess we'll soon have more updates to share.
In the meanwhile – let us know what you think about the trailer & stay tuned for that release date!
