When it comes to Lionsgate's
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies – there's still no such thing as confirmation.
But, who cares, we have some rumor instead! This time about the possible director.
So, check this out –
Christopher Smith, who you probably remember from titles like
Severance and
Triangle, will be taking over the director's chair.
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is a 2009 parody novel by
Seth Grahame-Smith.
It's a mashup combining
Jane Austen‘s classic 1813 novel
Pride and Prejudice with elements of modern zombie fiction. And, it's kind of…well, cursed project. Why?
First we had
David O.Russell on board to direct the whole thing, with
Natalie Portman all set to star and produce by the way.
But, as you already know, Portman left the whole thing, then O.Russell left as well.
Then,
we heard Mike White will take over director's chair, but – something strange happened – he left too!
So, what do you think about this newest choice? Will Smith (ok, I did this on purpose) stay on board?
