If, for some reason, you still have doubts about
Christopher Nolan and his plans for
Bond movie, then this is the perfect report for you.
Because, let's face it –
The Dark Knight Rises opens soon, we all know it's a closing chapter in the director's Batman trilogy, so quite logically, we all wonder – what's next, Nolan?
Apparently, British filmmaker is no longer impressed with (previously rumored) film about Howard Hughes, and we can now consider that one to be
off the table.
On the other hand, Nolan revealed that he “managed to find another wealthy, quirky character who's orphaned at a young age.” Ok, ok, but what comes after Batman?
Maybe this is the perfect moment for us to add that Nolan is a huge fan of the
James Bond series? Yeah, we all are, but according to the latest reports, Nolan is quite serious about the prospect of directing an entry in the long-running franchise.
In an interview with Empire, he revealed that he met with producers about Bond, but also said that any film with his name on it “would have to be the right situation and the right time in their cycle of things.”
So, if you like the news, then I'm sure you're curious to hear more about that
right situation, and the
right time thing.
But don't worry, we're also interested in this story, so make sure you stay tuned for more updates!
Brooding male with few words and tough choices to make, acting outside the law, optional shallow female love interest that can be killed off eventually, never to be seen again. Seems about right.
