So, all of the sudden we have a news that goes like this:
Christopher Nolan is in talks to direct
Interstellar! In case you're not so familiar with this title, we will first inform you that Nolan's brother Jonathan is responsible for the script of this sci-fi project, and that
Steven Spielberg was previously attached to direct it. More details in the rest of this report…
According to the latest reports,
Christopher Nolan is still in negotiations to direct the movie for Paramount and Warner Bros., where his
Syncopy banner is based. The story involves time travel and alternate dimensions, and sees a group of explorers travel through a wormhole.
Jonathan Nolan‘s script is based on scientific theories developed by
Kip Thorne, a theoretical physicist, gravitational physicist and astrophysicist at
Caltech (his theory suggests that wormholes exist and can be used for time travel).
As for
Steven Spielberg, he was previously attached to direct & produce
Interstellar together with Lynda Obst. Will he somehow remain involved in the whole thing – we have no idea, (especially considering his
Robopocalypse was delayed indefinitely) but as usual – with every new update – we'll be back!
Stay tuned for more!
