Chloe Moretz, who is currently working on the remake of Carrie is in talks for
The Wilderness of James, an indie film written by
Michael Johnson, who will make his directorial debut.
If she decides to sign on a
Let Me In reunion will be in the works as she'll star opposite
Kodi Smit-McPhee – the two starred together in the remake of the Swedish horror drama Let the Right One In.
The Wilderness of James is a coming of age story that centers around a young boy living in Portland who struggles with the recent loss of his father.
The film is set to start production next month, but Moretz's current work on Kimberley Peirce's remake is followed immediately by reprising her role as Hit Girl in Jeff Wadlow's sequel
Kick-Ass 2.
Therefore, Wilderness of James could hold off for a little longer. It's worth doing because Moretz and McPhee showed great chemistry and were fantastic together on screen so to see them back together in the same film would be a real treat.
Stay tuned.
