Hey
Iron Man fans, get ready for a completely new guy! His name is
Wang Xuequi, and he has just joined the cast of the upcoming
Iron Man 3! Or if you prefer – Xuequi comes on board to play a a new character named
Dr. Wu! It's official, and if you check out the rest of this report, you'll have a chance to see two pretty cool photos from the whole thing, and of course to take a better look at the doctor and the rest of the cast.

Nothing to be surprised about! After all, Marvel starts filming several scenes in Beijing this Monday so this is quite logical update. On the other hand, a few months ago we heard some rumors that another Chinese actor,
Andy Lau, could come on board to play an ally of billionaire inventor Tony Stark, but he quickly backed out.
Now,
Deadline reports that the studio has just cast leading Chinese actor
Wang Xuequi (aka the Sean Connery of China) as a new character – Dr. Wu. They also add that Xueqi's
is not a huge part:
Xueqi would be a last minute addition taking on the role that Lau had been circling: Chen Lu who is the civilian alias of Radioactive Man.

Anyway, Xuequi joins the cast which already includes
Robert Downey Jr.,
Gwyneth Paltrow,
Don Cheadle,
Guy Pearce,
Rebecca Hall,
Stephanie Szostak,
James Badge Dale,
Jon Favreau and
Ben Kingsley, and as you already know,
Iron Man 3 is set to open on May 3rd, 2013.
Marvel Studios' “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
