We already shared the first trailer for the upcoming (supernatural) horror movie The Last Exorcism 2, and as you already see from our title – today we're here to share a completely new TV spot and three new images from the whole thing as well! Ed Gass-Donnelly‘s movie is set to open this March, and will once again center on the possessed woman from the first film, Nell Sweetzer. Looks that her last exorcism was just the beginning…
Director Ed Gass-Donnelly co-wrote the script with Damien Chazelle, and as we said – the movie once again stars Ashley Bell as the possessed woman named Nell Sweetzer, who awakens shortly after the fiery finale in which her father failed to stop an occult ritual.
Continuing where the first film left off, Nell Sweetzer is found terrified and alone in rural Louisiana. Back in the relative safety of New Orleans, Nell realizes that she can't remember entire portions of the previous months only that she is the last surviving member of her family. Just as Nell begins the difficult process of starting a new life, the evil force that once possessed her is back with other, unimaginably horrific plans that mean her last exorcism was just the beginning.
Beside Bell, The Last Exorcism 2 also stars Andrew Sensenig, Spencer Treat Clark, Muse Watson, David Jensen & Judd Lormand, and the movie will open on March 1st, 2013.
