DmC: Devil May Cry! And before you say –
wtf, a video game?, I will remind you that Screen Gems bought the feature film rights to the
Devil May Cry games, they plan to bring it to the big screen, they already have
Kyle Ward on board to pen the script, and… well, that’s pretty much all we know about it at this moment. So, let’s just say (and hope) the movie is really
in-development, and until then – enjoy in this great video!
Just in case you’re not so familiar with
Devil May Cry, I will first inform you that the franchise was originally developed as the third installment of the
Resident Evil games, but once the game’s design started to deviate significantly from
Resident Evil‘s style, Capcom decided to launch the title as an original property.

Mistake? Not at all!
Devil May Cry has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide! There have been five games in the series since, with the latest, produced by
Ninja Theory as a reboot, featuring a younger version of the Dante character.
As for
DmC: Devil May Cry, it will center on the player character Dante, a young man with supernatural powers who finds himself under attack by a seemingly sentient town known as Limbo City populated by demons (heavy combat scenes included!)
DmC: Devil May Cry releases January 15th, 2013 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
