Hope you're ready for CBS' highly anticipated summer miniseries Under the Dome, because the 13-episode series finally premieres this month, and the first episode comes from The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo helmer Niels Arden Oplev. Looks promising, head inside to check it out.
As you already know, the whole thing is based on Stephen King's best-selling book of the same name, and is developed for television by Brian K. Vaughan. Both Vaughan and King will serve as executive producers along with Neal Baer, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank and Stacey Snider.
That awesome team stands behind the story which takes place in a small American town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by a gigantic transparent dome. Trapped inside the bubble, residents must grapple with post-apocalyptic conditions.
Under the Dome stars Mike Vogel, Rachelle Lefevre, Dean Norris, Colin Ford, Natalie Martinez and Ned Bellamy, and the premiere is scheduled for Monday, June 24, 2013, at 10 pm on CBS.
