Cassie Scerbo Joins DARK SKIES!

Cassie Scerbo – in case you remember this young lady from ABC's Make It Or Break It, you'll be happy to hear that she's now officially on board for an indie sci-fi thriller Dark Skies. The whole thing comes from director Anthony C. Ferrante, and beside Scerbo, the movie will also star Ian Ziering and Tara Reid. For more details about the project – check out the rest of this report! So, at this moment we know that Ferrante directs the movie from a script written by Thunder Levin, and the whole thing will center on a divorced Venice Beach bar owner who is on a mission to find his estranged family after a devastating storm floods Los Angeles. Beverly Hills star Ian Ziering is set to play that bar owner, while Scerbo will play the role of a bartender who helps him fight against any shark attacks along the way. Not sure if we're actually interested in this project, but – what the hell, it could be fun. Anyway, the movie recently started shoting in Los Angeles, so I guess we'll soon have more updates to share!
