Michael Haneke‘s upcoming
Amour is one of the titles that will compete at this year's
Cannes Film Festival, so quite logical – we're here to share some fresh images from the whole thing with you.
At this moment you should know that the movie will screen on Sunday, May 20th at Cannes, and the good thing is that Sony Pictures Classics will then release it later this year.
As you'll see, this is actually a first look at
Jean-Louis Trintignant and
Emmanuelle Riva, who star as George and elderly Anne – a married octogenarian pair of former music teachers whose mutual devotion is put to its severest test when Anne suffers a paralyzing stroke.
The rest of the cast also includes
Isabelle Huppert, who plays their daughter, a musician living abroad.
So, what should we all expect from Haneke's Amour?
Emotions? Love? Drama? Yeah, all of that…

cannot wait to see this. haneke rarely disappoints.
