Like apples? Like
Jonathan Groff? Then I'm sure you're going to love the first trailer (and poster) for the upcoming
C.O.G. movie, which is set to hit theaters next month! Described as a funny and poignant portrait of a lost soul searching for himself, this comedy drama tells us the story of a prideful young man and what's left of him after all he believes is chipped away piece by piece. Head inside to take a look…

Directed by
Kyle Patrick Alvarez, and based on the story by
David Sedaris, the movie revolves around a cocky young man named David, who travels to Oregon to work on an apple farm.
Out of his element, David (played by Groff) finds his lifestyle and notions being picked apart by everyone who crosses his path.
Or, if you prefer more details:
David has it all figured out. His plan – more a Steinbeckian dream – is to spend his summer working on an apple farm in Oregon with his best friend, Jennifer. When she bails out on him, David is left to dirty his hands alone, watched over by Hobbs, the old farm owner and the first in a series of questionable mentors he encounters. First there's Curly, the friendly forklift operator with a unique hobby, and then Jon, the born-again rock hound who helps David in a time of need.
Also starring
Troian Bellisario,
Corey Stoll,
Denis O'Hare and
Casey Wilson,
C.O.G. is set to hit limited theaters and iTunes on September 20th, 2013.
