Still early days for sure, but it seems that
Universal are keen to announce their intentions regarding more missions for that Bond squashing two legged tank
Jason Bourne with an announcement that
Bourne Ultimatum 4 is a go.Before you run the Treadstone flag up the flag pole,
Matt Damon hasn’t officially dignified the world with his agreement to participate and neither has the geezer that’s given the series it’s trademark high velocity ultra realistic look, director
Paul Greengrass.
Despite having run out of Bourne books to base things on, the lads and lasses at Universal have got a plan it seems. From
Yahoo news comes this quote…
Universal, meanwhile, has announced a fourth “Bourne” movie reteaming Damon and director Paul Greengrass, though Ludlum wrote only three novels. Two recent Bourne books were written by Eric Van Lustbader and published after Ludlum’s death in 2001, with a third Van Lustbader title expected in the summer.
A bit hasty r.e the Damon and director part we reckon, despite whats been said in previous news, but thinking about it, could a fourth outing even be considered without Matt Damon? A replacement for Greengrass maybe, but I couldn’t even begin to imagine a new lead. I’m also wondering how many more scenarios involving a very cool and calculating arse kicker, one step ahead of the bad lads and flitting all over the western hemisphere while simultaneously battering the bone marrow out of those sent to stop him there are left!
