Billy Crystal talked about Pixar's
Monster University revealing a few more details on the story in a recent interview with
EW.
Earlier this summer, teaser trailer showed us how Mike Wazowski (Crystal) and James ‘Sully' Sullivan (
John Goodman) weren't always the best of friends. Therefore, Crystal revealed some new details about the two monsters college days.
[Mike and Sully] end up in the same fraternity where they have this scare competition — like Greek Games in college. They have to mobilize a group, sort of like Revenge of the Nerds-monsters, and get them ready to be scary.
Crystal also revealed a tiny detail about the roughly the same age of his monstrous character in the prequel to Monsters, Inc.:
They're 17 and 18 years old in the script. My guy has a retainer, even.
The Monster University film will open on June 21st, 2013 and also features the voices of
Steve Buscemi, Dave Foley, Julia Sweeney, Joel Murray, and
Peter Sohn.
