Strange thing – we're here to write about
Barbra Streisand and her directing deal with Aldamisa International, and the truth is that we have nothing to share about that project. Or, should I say – projects?
Apparently, she is contemplating several projects at this moment, so let's just report that we're glad to hear Streisand is returning to the director's chair for the first time since her 1996
The Mirror Has Two Faces, ok?
So, at this moment we have this to share with you: Nadine de Barros, Aldamisa President of Intenational Sales & Acquisitions will serve as a producer on that mysterious (and eventual) film together with Sergei Bespalov, and the film will be financed by Mark Manuel's Kilburn Media.
In the official announcement they also add that they're “…thrilled to provide underwriting for a filmmaker of her vision, stature and accomplishment.” Of course they are…
Anyway, to be honest – I actually love Barbra Streisand. So I'm happy to hear she's back (she recently starred in
The Guilt Trip, remember?)
On the other hand, I liked The Mirror Has Two Faces. Maybe not back then, but now – I really think that was a pretty cool love story. And I still remember that song (duet with Bryan Adams actually):
My favorite line was ‘Can I call you sometime?'
It's all you had to say to take my breath away
This is it – I finally found someone…
